What would you conquer if you got all the sleep you need each night?😴 It’s no secret that many Americans struggle with sleep. Whether it is falling asleep, staying asleep or having a restless sleep, I know that there are a great deal of us out there that can benefit from a little help in the sleep department. Today I want to share my top 5 sleep tips to get you feeling more rested in the morning!
I think it is safe to say that we have all struggled getting proper rest from time to time. Whether we decided to stay up and watch “just one more” episode of our favorite show, or maybe our racing minds kept us from falling asleep two hours ago… I can’t fix it all, but I can give you some of my favorite tips using essential oils to be sure you are sleeping better and more soundly in the most natural way. Here goes! 💤
1️⃣ Set the mood - Creating a relaxing environment is key. I am always sure to prep the nightstand diffuser with my favorite sleep recipe:
💧2 drops Roman Chamomile
💧2 drops Wild Orange
💧2 drops Cedarwood
💧1 drop Lavender
2️⃣ Roll yourself on down to sleepy town - In a 10 mL roller bottle combine: 5 drops Balance®, 5 drops Cedarwood, 5 drops Copaiba, 3 drops Frankincense, 3 drops Peace® and top with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil. Roll on bottoms of feet during bedtime routine.
3️⃣ Take 1-2 Serenity® Softgels about 15-30 minutes before I want to fall asleep. Serenity® Softgels (also known as the Restful Complex), is a blend of Lavender, L-theanine, Lemon balm, Passionflower, and German Chamomile made into a convenient softgel to enhance a restful night’s sleep.
Take 2 Softgels 30 minutes before bed and:

4️⃣ Try a bath - An hour before bed, a warm bath can be a great way to end a long day! Add a few drops of dōTERRA Lavender and Frankincense essential oils to one cup of Epsom salt and dissolve in water. Relax and let your worries melt away so you are ready for a good night’s sleep!
5️⃣Give yourself a little massage - Grab your Deep Blue rub or your Past Tense roller and apply to your neck and shoulders to hep melt away the tension of the day. Once you are relaxed, you will be off to sleep in no time!
